E-Clock - A Free Java Application
The eClock is a fast clocking system that is easy to use. It calculates gross pay and PAYE and prints time-sheets. In addition, it works with the Device Management app and the PIN Management app.
Clock scan profiles provide information about the time and location of reference images. This functionality is useful in applications that require time and location determination, such as the analysis of spreading activity in populations of synaptically-connected cells.
Originally, the code used in the clock-scan protocol was written in Visual Basic 6 (VB6). Because this platform-dependent code was hard to distribute, it was converted into Java-based plugins. These plugins expand the capabilities of the original protocol.
With the Multi Clock Scan ImageJ plugin, you can analyze multiple objects simultaneously. You can also visualize the individual clock-scan profiles in the same image. Additionally, you can perform image overlay operations with the polar transform option.
The standard Clock Scan plugin displays a representative result, which is similar to the polar transform output. You can also plot a clock-scan profile with SD bars.
The Multi Clock Scan output window shows the mean and standard deviation of the individual clock-scan profiles. It also contains an additional output window that displays the polar transform of the studied image.
The polar transform option is ideal for analyzing the image stack and for image registration. A polar transform image is a scaled image based on the mean radius of an object. Each radial scan direction is modified by the polar transform.
